Octon Multimedia IP Centrex (MMIPC ) for the carrier is in fact a Next Generation Network solution of IP Centrex for Telco Operators. In addition to the full-featured traditional IP based Centrex functionality, MMIPC promises to deliver multimedia services like Video, Internet IM, SMS and other data and voice converged services for corporate and residential subscribers. Carriers now can deliver not only voice, but other advanced multimedia services, with low maintenance cost via existing data access network infrastructure like ADSL or private data network leased lines.
