Of course, easy to expand, economical and efficient are must requirements for such a solution. Thus, Octon developed iAccess - an enterprise application interface, an more efficient of EAI.
iAccess meets those needs by creating connection adaptors between computer telephony applications. iAccess supports open standards like Open Database Connectivity (ODBC), Using iAccess, custom applications in a system can access authorized applications freely.
To develop connectors, you can take advantage of the mechanisms for connection pooling, transaction management, and security enforcement in secured access gateways. Clients that run outside of an application server can also access those computer telephony applications by making direct calls to the applications' APIs. Those APIs contain methods, procedures, and functions that enable the clients to perform such operations as transferring a call, retrieving data, writing information, creating files and modifying information.
