Service Overview

Octon Computer Multimedia Integration (CMMI) system is in fact an implementation of the Next Generation Network (NGN) version of Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) system. Unlike the CTI system that focuses on telephony, CMMI delivers integration of enterprise data and contacts at a multimedia and multi-channel level. It bridges all types of contact data with agent applications. Now, not only can a phone call have screen pop, bus also can all other media, like email, Internet IM, video and SMS. As with phone calls, CMMI can perform the same functions with media and its agent related attached data service.

To protect data privacy and security when CMMI is working with Multimedia IP Centrex (MMIPC ) solution, CMMI can be installed locally at a particular subscriber's location, ensuring that private data will not leak out, even to the carrier.
